One of the best parts of the Pit Barrel^® Cooker is the incredible volume. Take advantage of every inch of that capacity by hanging and grilling at the same time. One side is closed like a traditional grilling grate, great for grilling burgers, seafood. and steaks. The other side is open, allowing you to hang your favourite cuts of meat(s)such as ribs, pork butt, or vegetables using the 3-Hanger Value Pack or Skewer Options. Utilize all the accessories simultaneously! 

Using one side for grilling and the other side hanging gives you the best of both worlds.

The 14" Pit Barrel Junior Hinged Grate diameter measures 13"
The 18.5" Pit Barrel Cooker Grate diameter measures 17.5″
The 22.5" PBX Hinged Grate diameter measures 21.74" 

The Hinged Grill Grates are made of heavy-duty chrome-plated durable steel.

With ZERO hardware, tools, drilling or any modifications required, the Grate Mates allow you to raise the level of your charcoal basket three different positions higher, OR lower the level of your cooking grate three positions lower.

Note: These will fit the first gen pit barrels but do require the removal of the nut on the inside of the barrel, mounting the Grate Mates and then refixing nut.

Pit Barrel WSM 18" Hanging System

Now you can Pit Barrel^® in your Weber Smokey Mountain!  The WSM Hanging System by Pit Barrel^® Cooker is a game changer for Weber Smokey Mountain fans.  The Weber Smokey Mountain hanging system easily locks into place on the top grill brackets. The Weber Smokey Mountain hanger system allows for increased cooking capacity while delivering the famous Pit Barrel^® style results. To use the Weber Smokey Mountain hanger system, simply remove the grill grate and water pan, lock the hanger system into place on the top grill bracket and open the top and bottom vent wide open. You’ll never cook a turkey or prime rib any other way. (Poultry hanger sold separately) The WSM hanging system is well built and designed capable of supporting up to 45 pounds of meat!
